FOR IMAGERY THAT FEELS LIKE love in the movies

SEATTLE WEDDING & ELOPEMENT photography

Your wedding isn’t just a day, it’s a feeling you’ll carry into all the days that follow. Based in Seattle, I photograph weddings and portraits on film and digital with an editorial, documentary approach that captures real connection, beautiful light, and the in-between moments that make your story feel like something you’d want to watch back, frame by frame.

SERVICES

Your story deserves to be told honestly and well.

Every wedding, relationship, and family carries its own rhythm. I like to approach each with intention and care, creating space for moments to unfold naturally rather than directing them into something they’re not. The result is imagery that feels true to you — effortless, emotive, and grounded in real connection.

INSTINCT IN THE MOMENT, intention in the frame.

behind the lens

I work in both film and digital because each reveals something different. Film slows me down and invites intention. Digital lets me move instinctively, catching the moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed. Together, they create images that feel layered, honest, and enduring.

Before photography, I worked as a creative in advertising, shaping stories and paying close attention to how people connect with what they see. But I was always drawn to the unguarded moments, people being people, love unfolding naturally, the quiet beauty of real life. Over time, I felt myself pulled outdoors more and more, toward open skies, shifting light, and the kind of stillness that makes you slow down. Photography became the place where everything met. That path eventually led me to the Pacific Northwest and to film along the way.

Living here continues to shape how I see. Time spent hiking in nature and immersed in the landscape has deepened my appreciation for subtle, fleeting moments. That sense of wonder carries into my work, guiding me to photograph with calm, curiosity, and a deep respect for what’s unfolding in front of me.

I’m drawn to simple rituals: slow mornings with Italian coffee, music in the background, art and culture in all forms, and the quiet privilege of watching people be fully themselves. At its core, my work is about love, the real kind. The in-between moments that are easy to overlook. The feeling of being somewhere you’ll never be again.

I’m simply there to notice it and create something you can return to.

  • "Each photo felt like us."

“Working with Amy felt calm, thoughtful, and deeply personal from the very beginning. She has this rare ability to make you feel completely at ease while also quietly capturing moments you didn’t even realize were happening. When we got our gallery back, we laughed, cried, and just sat with the images for a long time. Each photo felt like us. These photos aren’t just beautiful, they feel alive.”

  • "One of our favorite photos is one we didn’t even know she'd taken until we saw it in the gallery."

“Amy somehow managed to be everywhere and nowhere at the same time. She captured my dad squeezing my hand right before the ceremony, my partner tearing up during our vows, and the absolute chaos of the dance floor later that night, all without ever pulling us away from the moment. One of our favorite photos is one we didn’t even know she'd taken until we saw it in the gallery. That alone tells you how good she is.”

    —Margot & Lena

  • “Friends keep telling us our wedding photos look like they belong in a magazine.”

“We’re both pretty design-minded and were nervous about finding a photographer whose work felt elevated but still honest. Working with Amy was seamless from start to finish; nothing ever felt over-styled or forced. The images we received are stunning, and friends keep telling us our wedding photos look like they belong in a magazine. What impressed us most, though, was how natural and easy the entire experience felt.”

MY INSPIRATION comes from you

Your emotions, your relationships, and the way you move through your day together. I’m not interested in recreating trends or staging moments that don’t feel true. I look to the people in front of my camera for inspiration.

You don’t need to know how to pose or act a certain way. You get to be exactly who you are: beautiful, awkward, joyful, silly, real. My goal is to keep the experience relaxed and natural, offering gentle guidance when needed so your images feel honest and effortless. Getting to know you before the wedding matters to me, a call, a coffee, a conversation, because connection is what makes the photographs meaningful.

PHOTOGRAPHS for future nostalgia

I’m drawn to photographs that hold a feeling. The kind you return to years later and still recognize yourself inside of. My work is rooted in creating imagery that feels timeless, emotional, and quietly alive.

If that resonates, the collections below are designed to help you shape an experience that feels most like you.
